FEATURED PROJECT: Stansted Airport (FADO Compound)
Role: Specialist Installation Partner
The Scope: G&G R Ltd was commissioned to manage the logistics and installation of a 50m Bespoke Glazed Walkway and associated external furniture at Stansted Airport.
Structure: Erection of "Newcastle" Monopitch steelwork (50m x 3.3m) and "Hartcliffe" Cantilever shelters.
Glazing: Installation of 12mm heat-soaked toughened glass (roof) and frosted vertical screens using specialist vacuum lifters.
Heavy Lifting: Utilization of a 360 Rotational Telehandler and Glass Vacuum Lifter to safely manipulate 7.4 tonnes of steel and glass.
The Outcome: Delivered on schedule in a high-security airside environment.
